Kindle Your Imagination
Imagine a field of dandelions
Now, imagine that field on fire…
--
They say, make a wish and blow,
But I’ve already done that
So I take this match and light fire
--
Wishes ignited in a field of fire lions
Blazing, breathing, engulfing
beating, blue hot, golden glow
fierce and hungry
I won’t let go
--
To release a breath of desire
And awaken this beast to inspire

“The image of a dandelion catching on fire made me think of dreams igniting and coming true. Then I thought of what it would be like for an entire field of dandelions to catch on fire. It made me feel like anything was possible.”

C O N S I D E R E D
I got lost in the abstract art of dreaming,
but I never stopped sharing an encouragement to a loved one or diving into writing prompts just to write. Now, I’m taking a step to put those things online, to inspire a community of writers.
It is my hope that this website inspires you as a writer. SassyFireLions is all about refreshing your perspective in regards to life and yourself. It’s about re-designing the way you embrace your dreams, to realize success as a writer is within arm’s reach.
It’s about re-framing your perspective of the world and your part in it by recognizing that you have a writer’s voice, a warrior’s cry and a freedom’s calling.
It isn’t about under or over-estimating your voice or potential, but instead simply estimating it into the equation.
You have purpose, your story is important, and you’re part of a community of writers. You’re not alone. You are uniquely created to make a difference and be part of something greater than yourself.
If you don’t know what you’re doing, you’re in the right place, I’m learning too. We can learn together.
Always,
Cassandra
