Fall Patches

Transition. Letting go of last season to pursue the next. And yet, staying beautiful in the midst of all the changing of colors. Patchy, uneven, a little outta control and losing its’ leaves … that sounds about right, but this tree is beautiful in its’ changing. It stands out from all the rest in its’ own beautiful way, and it reminds me every day to stop for just a moment… to enjoy this day, this moment, this angle, this phase and to not be afraid of a little change. It’s okay to feel a little uncomfortable. You can settle into transition and find in it an opportunity to grow. You can look down at your mess of colors and see grace and beauty there. You can embrace, even rest in it, and with confidence take the next bold step.
