Winter Where I Am

It’s snowing outside. The wet snow that sticks and then melts, and I want to go outside without a jacket.

To feel the cold air, the crisp breeze, the cold little flecks of snow all over my arms; goosebumps.

To stare up at the overcast sky and breathe in the clouds.

To run through the paths trickled by wet puddles.

And stand on rooftops to see my breath disappear into the sky.

To feel the season on every level it brings.
