I See Wonder in You

I see wonder in you. It’s ethereal, like eternity kissing dust. It’s fierce like fire making a wish to fly. All it knows is to consume and yet branches become ash in exchange for a suffocating gasp as flame takes form in smoke. Fire meet smoke, meet air, meet sky and precipitation meet water and rain and downpour.

Your eyes shimmer with the weight of a jungle downpour. Giant green leaves drenched as flooding waters raise the jungle floor into current and power. Something awakens in the midst of this raging storm. It’s like the struggle in the unknown and yet there’s power in the unexplainable.

Something awakens. Wonder takes her form. Crashing currents ignite a beauty far greater from within. Something unseen shakes new vibrations and a language is formed. Sounds transform and create a new chemistry. The mysterious becomes deep revelation and the vast unravelings of eternity take tiny forms of understanding, just enough. Just enough. Trailing.

I see wonder in the midst of rain and fire. In the way she turns her head toward us with a striking stare and divine beauty. Her eyes are like all of the elements of the earth being released by gravity and then exploding into a million astonishing colors. Like how the rainbow needs light and water, her pupils are filled with the fascination of earth, water, air and fire all infused together in one breathtaking moment.

I see wonder in you that doesn’t speak a familiar sound in its language. It isn’t what we know and yet it opens our eyes to both the fearless and the bewildering.

I see wonder in you that can heal and make new. I see wonder in you that will both take your breath away and give you a new voice. I see wonder in you that speaks in rain and fire. I see wonder in you that kisses time and eternity and brings things together that we could never understand. I see wonder in you that creates a daring beauty and audacious strength that will write an endless and inspiring story.
